Depends who you ask. Bill stated Timken pulled out of deal after said fiasco with bashers harassing Timken.
However, see response below sent to me directly from Timken HR rep July 15, 2015:
We are aware of the recent TPAC release but do not agree with the content of the release. Although we placed a small order (under $9K) with TPAC over a year ago to test their product, the parts were never shipped and the order was subsequently cancelled. This usage of the Timken name was without authorization, the facts have been dramatically embellished and we have been in contact with TPAC and key media outlets to correct the misrepresentation
