Zero evidence to support that. However closing the terrorist watch- list background check loophole makes increasingly more sense, ditto the gun show background check loophole.
Both are reasonable and neither are 'slippery slopes'.
I may have missed it, the bill to repeal the 2nd Amendment? Maybe you can point out that Obama submitted one as often as the GOP as attempted to repeal the ACA.
