Sorry but you asked for proof, and you've got nothing to counteract what I posted.
From Reagan through Obama, tax hikes worked as shown.
AND from the tax hikes shown in your table, which have gone toward budget deficit reduction under Reagan, Clinton and Obama.
Lower rates on the same employment growth would not by itself helped to lower deficits, to the same degree they were lowered.
And there is no denying the handwringing by Republicans prior to every single tax hike. Wrong with their hyperbolic predictions, every single f*cking time.
And some people STILL believe the GOP's supply side fairy dust economics. Go figure!
