Since Friday night is grammar night and "hamstringed" is too easy, may I suggest to parse the following words in the email?

major - great, as in rank or importance

pharmaceutical - pertaining to pharmacy or pharmacists

companies - a number of persons united or incorporated for joint action, especially for business

significant - having or expressing a meaning; indicative; suggestive

interest - a share, right, or title in the ownership of property, in a commercial or financial undertaking, or the like
