I was told by someone on this board that if you have a sell order placed on your shares, that they can't be borrowed for short selling. Fidelity would only let me ask $7.5/shr because the stock price is so low, but I did that on all of my shares, just to keep them out of the short loaner pool. I wonder if you'd have to go through FINRA arbitration if you had a beef with your brokerage? LOL!
