The biggest contributing factor is seasonality.
Other factors could include....
-The company has been selling product for less than a year.
-Distribution channels are still being opened
-Distributors wanted the new 16oz. cans versus the 12 ounce.
-can design
-cold weather
The beverage industry is seasonal. Loading up on my favorite ice-cold soft drinks is a bigger concern when it's 90'f outside versus freezing weather when warm drinks seem to be the favorite.
