Posted this on iHub in response to a trusted ultra-long asking me whether I believed the Hoppel selling of up to .0003 (at par .0003) started May 26.
May 26 is the day I'm going with for the following reasons:
It was the first day anyone on iHub posted Hoppel could sell.
It was the first day there had been any convertible debt selling into the bid for several days.
Even if it is a day out, it will be near enough. There was only 3M on May 26 but there was 17M on May 27 which most probably was part of it.
Various people here have differing views as to whether any other notes can be sold at present.
My main reason for counting starting May 26 is to make people realize that 400M is not a huge deal when spread over 2-4 weeks ie way before San Diego Comic Con.
Then, if they want to add, they can judge for themselves - bearing in mind how long ago they put bids in at .0003 and / or at .0002 - whether they might get filled on the bid or whether they should hit .0004s whilst they are still there - at least for a portion of the total they are trying to accumulate prior to revenue announcements down the line.
