You don't want the Government negotiating that. Drug(bio/pharma) are currently running a tit less than 18% net. They have to spend so much outlay before such which equates to those numbers. The truth is that they have finally turned it around(Big Pharma)....they had a negative growth rate of a rough 2%(-2%) for twenty years(1989-2010). Now they are getting beat up for actually turning it around. Don't get me wrong....not attempting to pitch em'. I hate the legal drug culture today ....pitch play to doctors that dish out samples to their patients(test dummies)
Insurance Companies are netting around 7% in margin(net margin).....so they do not make the money some would suggest. With regards to Dems and Republicans..politically...I agree 100% that they are comrades that care very little about the people.
