I happened to watch a commercial advertising this Money Mutual on TV Friday night. In it they expressly said they no longer do any loans in New York. The payday lenders got away with these loans in New York for years until they were prohibited from doing them anymore. Hopefully these toxic lenders like Asher, and KBM will be next. It's just loansharking on a corporate basis.
