I don't understand the whole issue of shorting. I get the difference between short volume and short interest but shorting is shorting. period. the existence of short volume, covered or not, indicates downward pressure to cause the price to drop. please correct me if I am wrong, they are annoying me with the back and forth taking away the truth that shorting is present causing the price to decrease.
