Looks like Huffman is struggling with settlements of late, huh?
We'll see if the Bar calls for hearings, which I am happy to pay for, but like Kyle, Conte appears to be getting nothing for all this litigation with the Unsophisticated Individual. Conte gets a settlement and their was a change of heart.
It happens.
Judge Cook laughed at the idea that SFRX had over $10MM worth of damage done by the Defendant, and the Defendant changed his mind and decided to fight instead of rolling over and being Kyle's scapegoat. I'm glad he did. It's an absurd idea and two Judges have put the burden back on the company. Judge Cook ORDERED evidentiary hearings in Her ruling. She wanted to see competent evidence.
Judge Stephens said Kyle is going to have to have witnesses explain why they didn't buy the stock at lower prices when they realized the Defendant (ahem) had made false statements.
Maybe the Defendant will provide an update on the permit when the FBAR is deposed in a few weeks.
