If what Chas says is true, perhaps the case will not last that long and the judge will settle this thing once and for all, including slapping COR with a nice fine for their own negligence in this mess. If there truly is all this money COR is able to recover from their own clients who in part caused this mess, I don't see why the judge won't nip this in the bud here and now.
