As I have stated multiple times, maybe to the point of annoyance, I feel Leo has learned the hard way what can happen when making a big deal of pipeline progress by hyping up events and then stumbling a little on either execution or timing of said events. Many longs have been diligent in keeping him informed of the games and illegal shenanigans being played by crooks and he is well aware of what the bashers will try and do to the SP if hyped news is less than anticipated. So I have to believe that Leo is not repeating the same mistakes again by continuing to build the suspense of the final P results. In my opinion this data release is going to be a very telling event.
While I am extremely excited and truly believe the results are going to be in the very good to excellent range, I worry about what is going to happen in the short term if they are not as good as Leo seems to be building them to be. I just hope that there is not any legitimate bits of less than stellar data which the trolls/bashers/shorts can reasonably use to spin Leo's credibility in the negative again. They will use that shit for months and will continue to use it every time any news of potential positive progress is announced.
I realize that in the grand scheme of things the small time short/basher game will be a blip on the radar and that big pharmas who are looking for new game changing drugs don't care and likely don't even know about it. HOWEVER, the criminal BS does ultimately hurt us long term. If bashers/shorts are successful in holding SP down, CTIX does not get as much value out of both the Aspire deal and the shelf registration. Additionally the SP is an intangible bargaining chip at the partnership/buyout table. Regardless of how great the drug is, a low SP still allows a subconscious perception that it may not be as good as it sounds.
I know I am likely letting the devil on my other shoulder get the best of my post here, but those are some of the thing I continue to worry about. That being said; I think I am going to go raid the couch cushions after I post this to see how many more shares I can buy!
