Re: Jerseyfish #20828
It's not too early to speculate about a buyout. That's how minds operate: we 'go there.' It is too early to hope for a buyout, however, if by that a near-term buyout is meant. Buyouts are based on a combination of actual sales, actual profits, and perceived potential. We're batting one out of three at this point. This won't change for a while yet.
To maximize return, management needs to bat eyes at their suitors but not actually do anything until, say, 2018 or later.
At that point, we're probably looking at somewhere between $3 and $25/share, and a return of 60x-500x for those who bought in at, say, $.05.
If Big Soda buys before then, burial becomes a real risk. RMHB becomes just another line item in their portfolio. They may or may not attend to it. That's a whole lot riskier than having a dedicated and independent management team focusing wholeheartedly and without mixed messages or agendas on building the business.
