The price isn't really dropping. It's been channel bound for a couple weeks, between .0025, which has been successfully tested at least 2-3 times, today, and .003, which appears to be a rather formidable resistance level. As far as "selling the news" goes, there hasn't been any of significance.
As to whether people were expecting Boeing news, the answer to this question is probably "yes."
