Just a quick wiki read to find that - sounds like compassionate use is something that typically happens later in the development - drugs with more developed safety profiles look to be more common compassionate use candidates. I would love to hear that Dr. Shapiro at Dana Farber had applied for a treatment IND with Kevetrin! But sounds like we need to get some more clinical experience with the drug under our belt before it is likely. I could have misinterpreted things as this was my first simple look at it...
