kidmarco, Appearing inept at answering business questions is a "skill learned with practice". It's a critical skill if your intention is to kick the can down the road for the next 20 years without spending time in the "big house". George has it down to a science. (how many of you have complained that his PR's reveal nothing you can actually verify) He may now actually have a product someone is willing to buy but his history indicates that has never been his main focus. This goose has been laying golden eggs for years. (non-refundable deposits, exclusive agreements, etc.) In my opinion, it will take a very special deal before he's inclined to kill it. He obviously likes things just the way they are. That's the only logical explanation for his actions to date. If any of us ever turn a profit on our investment in COATS, It will be by accident rather than the result of a well thought out business plan IMO.
