They said he was joining a start-up. He's probably got a ton of CTIX stock, where he is NOT the top scientific guy -- to me it makes perfect sense that he'd want to be the head guy in a new company, with the attendant possibility of riches beyond the dreams of avarice if the new company's stuff works.
