A shareholder buys a stock.
The company authorizes a dividend.
DTTC and FIRNA approve the dividend
The dividend is paid to the shareholders by their brokers after the funds are received from COR clearing.
COR clearings procedures are in question.
So the DTTC, FIRNA, the Brokers, and COR all release the funds to innocent shareholders. Now the shareholders are the bad guys here.
This could be the most absurd thing I have ever herd of.
