Great article. I was surprised they used a Photo Multiplier Tube and CCD to image. The best resolution with a PM-Tube/CCD I have used falls off @ 4.5 line pairs/mm. I do work with a cesium iodide digital detector/ccd that I measured 8 Lp/mm and I have Amorphous Silicon Digital Detector that tops out at 6 Lp/mm . Still very interesting. The best resolution I have measured is 14 Lp/MM @ 3 mili second exposure using a gold resolution pattern. So I stick with Vascular Imaging.
