I think you are reading too much into my question, if it is making you laugh. I never said they were not sponsoring - I know that events have multiple sponsors, and different levels, with varying rights of sponsorship. My comment was simply that I thought it was strange for them to alter the official event graphic, when they had not paid to be a title (or graphic level) sponsor. That's it. And then I offered that up for discussion; which some people discussed.
