Apparently he had been taking these pain killers for 25 years. That would make him 32 when he started. The hip/ankle problems I thought started in the last 10 years or so. Obviously he didn't have people around him that he trusted or that gave him good information. Any logical person would not live every day in pain. He was such a religious person. I heard when he had his dance parties there was no alcohol, smoking, and you couldn't swear. Yet in private he was a drug addict.
