What negative consequences? So what would Iraq be like if such didn't happen? I am amazed how so many individuals admired Saddam Hussein.....and fail to remember how scared many were after 9/11 with regards to those that wanted us dead. The proactive deployment to Iraq during Afghanistan was warranted and anyone that ever studied such would understand that. When you are already deployed...you are in the position to mobilize and deploy elsewhere in the same region.

You do not need to love War in order to understand it. I despise war and despise any nation that forces it's citizens to serve.
