If anyone is new to CTIX research and found this site through the Seeking Alpha article, please know that the comments after the article claiming that there were serious adverse events from the Brilacidin trial are totally false. Brilacidin is much safer than current antibiotics. The RARE side effects of very transient numbness and/or tingling of fingers are much less severe than the well-documented possible SERIOUS adverse effects of many other common antibiotics, especially the quinolones (Cipro, Avelox, Levaquin, etc.). These minor possible side effects are very short-lived and resolve on their own quickly, without requiring any treatment.
