Maybe that tells us the volume of shares that have been issued by the shorts
4,900,000,000 - 1,800,000,000(rounded) = 3,100,000,000 billion short shares.
I hope I'm just kidding.
That would be a too big to fail problem, unless the shorts want to get together and offer us 5,000,000,000 for our entire company and retire their shares by taking everything private!!!!!!!
