The 4K world has to be screaming at DTV and Pro BB.
The decision to pull the Dodgers-Giants 4K broadcast did not sit well with viewers, some of whom upgraded both their programming package and satellite equipment to watch the game, according to subscriber posts at multiple social media sites and message forums. (To watch the 4K channel, DIRECTV requires subscribers to upgrade to one of its two most expensive programming plans, and get a HR54 HD DVR.)
So this is why DTV promised more than it can deliver. In addition to their hope for lots more customers and a 4K lock on Pro-Baseball.
Maybe Pro-BB and Pro sports in general should wake the f up.
