Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) is preparing to file chapter 11 bankruptcy as soon as this month, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. The company is attempting to work out a loan to finance operations during the bankruptcy process, the report said.
A deal to avoid the filing or find a buyer could still emerge.
