From a accounting standpoint there is no reason for non-refundable revenue to be held in escrow. And I still don't understand how it doesn't show up in the financials. I've emailed Coates. If I get an answer I'll share it.
As for the rest, it's kind of a big ho hum to me. There have been lots of stories over the years, but I'm looking for real results. We read of progress, but the hunt for a sizeable revenue stream remains elusive.
And as for the part you posted about the gain on the sale of the land and building, I don't get that either. Maybe they had sold, rented it for a time, and then bought it back ? Just a guess.
I guess we'll never see an open house. No word on that in quite some time.
