They probably will stay, for at least one more Dem presidential election win.
What was the 'big picture'? GOP is the Party of anti-choice, the very choice many of them would make, have made, but would outlaw if they could,.
The whole point is that the choice is between a woman and her doctor. GOP wants freedom of choice in all other areas of American life, including a choice to forego ACA coverage. Which they can for the price of a fine. and then we can pick up the tab for their ER
visit(s).
But why are you trying to re-litigate the past,,,,,"Published on Sep 15, 2012"....?
How'd this sh*t turn out for ya? And do you think that Romney, or any other GOP candidate, didn't twist themselves in knots trying to explain one thing or another? Remember the '47%'?
