Instead of making just another gum flop why not explain to the board why a company that makes a product that is only responsible for a "little bit" of death, destruction, and total disaster should be exempt from law suits. It seems to me that if Glock or whatever gun maker is responsible for the actions of some loon misusing their product then so should Louisville Slugger, Chicago Cutlery, various car companies, etc., be held responsible if a loon misuses their product. Making a statement of "that's false equivalence" and hoping that wins an argument just won't cut it.
