From my own experience speaking with Nasdaq, I was told late filings had no impact on uplisting approval, and what mattered to Nasdaq was the company being current on all required filings when they submitted their application to uplist. But certainly once on Nasdaq, the expectation is to remain current in all filings, and missed deadlines can impact a company's ability to remain listed.
This is what the Nasdaq rep told me over the phone over a year ago, so I'm not concerned much about the late filing. It's always best to find out from the source than to rely on someone's belief or opinion.
