Before anyone says it, We all know UltraFlix doesn't have hundreds of thousands of movies. It was a content mistake by Jeff that should've been caught when proofing this letter.
With that said, the takeaway is, nothing has changed insofar as the RS is concerned. Whether we like it or not, it's apparently going to happen. It's disappointing though that Jeff says it's good for shareholders when I believe if that's true he means new shareholders not old Longs like myself and many others here.
He talks about needing fewer shares to fund new and ongoing projects after the RS. Well, duh...but what he doesn't mention is that following a 1:15 RS you only need 1/15 of the number of shares to get the same amount of dilution. So, that seems disingenuous to me.
We apparently continue to grow the subs at thousands per week but if I recall correctly that's what we heard last August at the SHM. So, I'm hoping for a little more specificity when they release the Q in a few weeks.
Still just a frustrated Long with hopes that somehow we will see some positive and sustainable movement in the pps 'soon'. We are still woefully undervalued.
