Called to complain and the guy gave me Showtime free for 3 months, $30, AND 'free' on my HD connection subscription for 1 year! That's 12 X $9.99 = $120. $150 in return for one 'ah sh*t, again?' phone call
I made no threats to discontinue service, just expressed irritation with interruption on consecutive days.
Maybe they're feeling pressure from Dish service? Doubtful IMO.
I think the guy was just empathetic and probably a Comcast customer who's fed up with interruption of HIS services!
