You are correct. That's why there needs to be a class action among many companies, not just individual tickers as has been the norm to date. And it needs to be on a contingency basis since most of the legitimate companies are drained dry and can't fight back because of the legal costs. This another SEC battle that must be fought. One huge class action would capture their attention. JMO.
