The current fad of people between the ages of 16 to 35 is the leaf. The appearance is what attracts the people to the drink, Once they try it the print on the can doesn't matter. in the mid west and west people are offended by the leaf and so all of these other trials to satisfy the population. Its the initial exposure that has the draw.
