They should have asked You for the model Number on Your Hisense TV and installed it for You if Your Model will accept it which You say it will not?
Indeed strange dilemma You got there.
Maybe Your Cable Company[or internet provider] can come to Your house and do it for You.
Could be they will offer those services for a small nominal Fee.
My Cable man was not supposed to do it, but He did.
I gave Him a Tip[not much] for being so nice!
