What really turned me on to tpac I think was Bills business plan/vision. I want ran aerospace stock to add to my portfolio in order to be more diversified. Tpac came up on my searches a few times so I checked out the website. The part that I found to be strategically ingenious, and I could be wrong, is the whole China locale. He used the countries growth as a stepping stone (China's growth has since deteriorated). Think about it.
A. They wanted to build something like 5000 planes by 2021.
B. They put a 24% tax on anything that is imported from outside the country.
C. No one within those borders is capable of building those parts to navair specs and qualifications. Until now!
D. The equipment to make the parts is substantially cheaper there.
Why not? He's eliminating the competition so to speak. It would be one hell of a lot harder to succeed in the states as a startup! So start in China, get rev generation going and then come back here and work into adding clients stateside. Personally, I can't rave enough about how thought out and intelligent the whole idea is.
Someday, I would like to shake that mans hand and personally thank him for his vision and attention to detail! Hopefully, as well as a thank you for how he helped me, my family, and all the people who were willing to take a chance on his dream.
