I don't think it makes sense to have a cargo only plane. It would mean salaries for another crew, additional maintenance expense, fuel and payroll taxes and insurance. I think it would be better with the one plane but more frequent routes. Why send a plane with cargo only when you can get additional revenue onto the same plane from selling tickets. Even if it's only partial full.
