Many hedge funds will close in the next three to five years. I don't see it as an alarm, its more of an opportunity for the savvy hedge funds that have understanding of the market and the direction it is going.
With the World Wide Web and the rise of informative websites and internet brokerages, any investor has the ability to research & discover investment opportunities on their own. In turn, it left many people questioning whether or not its worth paying the large fees that are attached to having funds handled by a hedge fund.
