I'm fully aware of the Cuban record on human rights.
What was, has been, China's record on same since Nixon went there? Did we Embargo them after Tiananmen Square?
Vietnam, also communist and no great shakes on human rights?
Saudi Arabia?
If 50 years of Embargo hasn't changed the nature of the regime, as Rand Paul stated time to try something else.
As I said it's just doing what conservatives do best, what they need to do to feel tough, nurture grievances.
