I have reviewed the video I recorded - mentioned at #282 - of the multiple messages placed on iHub - with an automated repeat feed to Twitter - that may have influenced DIDG shareholders to sell shares at a loss. I firmly believe that the posts affected trading and might therefore be construed by authorities as "manipulation".
There were actually many more posts in rapid succession than I realized at the time - over 50.
Had I not immediately recognized the form of words used, known that some of the content was most likely false as it was totally unexpected in light of recent communication from involved parties, and also that it did not reflect the reality of my observations on Level 2, I would probably have sold too.
Fortunately, I was able to make my own decisions very rapidly due to my arrangement of information as a full-time trader. It would not have been so easy for someone operating from a mobile device without all relevant windows instantly available.
There is a chance now that the frenetic activity of the closing minutes on Friday may yet turn out to be just a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things and a trading opportunity from current price levels.
However, I feel strongly about what transpired and may make a complaint anyway for investigation as I have been the victim of such actions in the past in my early days of trading.
Anyone who suffered a loss might wish to complain too.
