Remember NTEK said they were installing Fiber Optics at
their headquarters and 4K Studios and this would greatly
reduce their overall costs.

This could be one of the reasons they are able to keep
the specials running as long as they have.

By having their costs at a lower level now they can
afford to sacrifice profits margins with the specials
short term, knowing they are rapidly gaining UF users
far faster with the specials than without them.
