You sell the young short. The notion that those war protestors were duped rather than just 'early', is misguided. Eventually there were Vietnam Veterans Against the War. Duped?, not in the sense you mean but rather by their government.

I think much of the country went through 3 mental stages RE Vietnam. Agnostic, ambivalent and 'WTF?!'
