Re: Ridge_Runner #608
I have been in for a little over five years. I stopped buying in Nov. 2015 after averaging down my cost and as of July 15, 2015, according to the latest numbers posted by the transfer agent, I currently hold .0189% of the "float". With that many shares, there is no need to buy more.
To my way of thinking, I was investing in the company. But George added some clarity to that in his reply to one of my emails by saying that only the "accredited", original people who bought shares directly from him when he started the company are the investors. Originally, about 741 people.
The rest of us are only shareholders who bought on the open market. Where did those shares come from? They came from the original investors who, after waiting a number of years bailed out and from the loan sharks who cashed in their shares. We, the "stockholders" and speculators are the only ones creating the demand for the stock. Think about that.
But I am not going to sell my shares. Not now. Not when it appears that this company is on the verge of. of.. of..... something!
