Just like all the exotic cars I love so much. The Dreamliner is made of 40% carbon fiber. Just like in high end cars, the high end planes, replace more and more parts,including even the aluminum parts with carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is even stronger and lighter than aluminum and each new generation of plane, contains more and more of the stuff.

Carbon fiber means. Less weight, less fuel consumption, less cargo rash. Greater ranges.

Fuel costs make up up to 50% of total costs to run an airline.

I am happy we are looking into newer aircraft.
