You can Google the demographics of the '08 and '12 elections, or just look at the Blue/Red maps, to see who Dems represent.

Most the industrial and technological might of the nation is concentrated in those Blue States, and the lions share of Federal taxes are collected from Blue States and redistributed to Red States.

So too are the majority of very best State and private universities located in those Blue States. H.S.'s too.

Maybe you want to argue that there is some moral superiority that can credibly be claimed for Republican voters? But you can't do that with a straight face.
