A new startup called the Screening Room plans to offer this for $50 per view, after the purchase of a $150 device that transmits the movie, Variety has revealed.
The company is backed by Sean Parker, formerly of Facebook and Napster, and will offer secure anti-piracy technology. Sources say it’s already gaining ‘serious interest’ from several major studios.
