OK. My flight is 6 am out of Midway. That entails a 40 minute train ride. So I am hitting the hay soon. I have one chapter left in Vince Flynn's "Separation of Power." I have read all his books at least twice. Same with Brad Thor, James Patterson and Davis Baldacci.
This genre of books brings back memories and reminds me of a circle of friends out of Herndon VA. and DC.
One night last summer we were invited to an important persons home outside the BW of DC.
They have huge back yards at some of these big homes. We were asked to bring 10 white mice. In exchange we had all the bbq, wine and cigars we could handle.
As soon as it started to get dark our host got out a bird call and a white mouse. All of a sudden a bard owl came out of nowhere and snatched the mouse up! This went on for about an hour.
Yes they do train predators in DC!
