I was pondering the AMBS and AVDX transaction.
Assume for a second that Gerald is not a sociopath and a pathological liar. If that is true, we are all screwed. I don't think it is.
I think he had some good preliminary talks with people interested in our Diagnostic assets. Then he became really arrogant and started tweeting claims which eventually turned out to appear outlandish given the performance of the stock and the lack of any real diagnostic deal.
No real deal happened because of the toxic soup that is AMBS.
But Gerald promised us all a deal. So he decided to throw the assets into a publicly traded OTC company that is very close to a shell (only one asset and one employee). And from watching his presentation, that one employee is a complete disaster who knew close to nothing about our diagnostic assets at the time of the signing of the LOI.
I think that Gerald believes he can bring the players with interest in our Diagnostic assets back to the table if he can offer them up through a clean entity - AVDX.
That's my hope at least. If that isn't what he is doing, and he actually choose to get in bed with AVDX as a viable deal on its own, again we are all screwed.
