Thcz -- I love Austin - last decade used to come down 2x a year for Shareholder meets when I owned DYN just for 6th st -- Now attend 2x/yr Dallas/ Ft Worth for Nascar Races.
Used to water at Joe's Generic bar - before he was killed -- saw many future great blues players like Kenny Wayne Sheppard / Gary Clark Jr etc - have met, listened to one of the greatest who basically won't leave Austin - Alan Haynes He does tour Europe but I couldn't get him to come to Summerfest.
Your music scene in Austin is awesome and was grateful to see Jerry getting us involved with y'alls music scene -- sure beats funding a frickin' kick boxer IMO
May the RMHB bev's flow freely during fest and soon tons of stores to follow
